Rosalind Brenner is a mother of three wonderful adults and also an active grandmother. She has traveled to India and Sri Lanka, besides traveling to Poland, her ancestry home, and around her own homeland of Australia, on her own in a bus. She has sat in ceremonies with Aboriginal elders in the Australian Desert, lived in the UK for three years.

"I write with a sense of social justice and I guess I want the readers to connect to the injustices done during the holocaust," says Brenner, "the effects of future generations and the healing that is possible on the journey of return."
